A society composed of law and non-law students with the primary goal of updating Irish statutory laws for the common good.

This quiz aims to encourage students to explore and showcase their knowledge in a variety of subjects, including law, culture , health, agriculture, IT and other relevant topics.

Eligibility:
Open to all ATU students.

Why join?
If you are interested in participation or just want to test your knowledge, this quiz is a great opportunity to challenge yourself.

Rules:
Detailed guidelines will be provided via WhatsApp/Outlook. The competition will ensure equal opportunities for all participants. The quiz will feature multiple - choice questions. The competition will consist of the following stages: primary and final.
Commitee members are excluded from participation.

Prizes:
A total of 260EUR will be awarded to the top 3 participants with the most correct answers.

About Politics & Society
      What is Politics & Society?

Politics & Society - a society for students who are interested in, and committed to, indirectly contributing to the development of Ireland's political and economic systems.
Non-Law Students are welcome to join!

Are you unhappy with the current situation in Ireland?
Do you care about the future of Ireland as a whole?
If you answered "YES" to both questions, this society is the perfect place for you!
Join us and seize the opportunity to turn your aspirations into action, shaping Ireland's political, economic, social, environmental, and other spheres for the better.


Activities
Discussions about legal issues in Ireland.
Meetings with members of the local authority and the lower and upper houses (Oireachtas).
Discussions about legislation (Acts and Statutory Instruments) and preparing proposals (conducting legal research, finalizing it in academic essay) for amendments to Acts and S.I., presenting them to the relevant minister.
Goal
To assist students in expanding their knowledge of legislation and the Constitution.
To support non-law students, develop a better understanding of legislation and apply basic knowledge of its rules to legal issues.
To update specific Acts and S.I. to facilitate life in Ireland.
