About Islamic Society

Who can join the ATU Islamic Society?

Everyone is welcome to join so long as you are a full time time student of ATU Donegal.
As God Almighty says in the Holy Quran:

O people! We created you from a male and a female, and (divided) you into nations and tribes,
so that you might recognize one another.
Surely, the most honourable amongst you in the sight of God is he who fears God the most.
Certainly, God is All-Knowing, All-Aware. (Surah Hujurat: 13)

What is the ATU Islamic Society all about?

We set this society up with the intention of creating a platform for Muslims within ATU Donegal.
We will host events and discussions on Islamic values among other things.
Our goal is to educate brothers
and sisters of the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH
and the Holy Quran.

Our Holy Prophet PBUH said, “Verily, the believers are like a structure, each part strengthening the other,”
and the Holy Prophet PBUH
 clasped his fingers together. [al-Bukhari]

Therefore we should unite as a group to educate each-other and increase our ilm (knowledge) in our faith.
We will also promote the needs of Muslim students by advocating for better Islamic facilities in ATU Donegal.

Current Committee 3
