Together, ATU Green Pantry Society students and volunteers are putting sustainability into action—rescuing surplus food, reducing waste and supporting one another under our motto, “Eat well, waste less.”

On 8 October 2026, our major FoodCloud donation benefited over 50 students at ATU Letterkenny. This milestone reflects the work of students organising collections, building partnerships and volunteering to get food onto campus and into students’ hands.

Joining the Donegal Food Response Network has helped us overcome storage and transport challenges. Through Finn Valley, we can now access approximately 100 kg of food and an additional 50 kg of mixed vegetables each fortnight for Thursday distributions.

Thank you to every student who has helped make this happen, and to FoodCloud, the Donegal Food Response Network, Finn Valley and ATU Students’ Union Donegal for supporting our efforts. Every collection and volunteer contribution helps us build a more sustainable and supportive campus.
